What hasn't been said about the V: introduced in 1958 (ultimately flopping in sales and becoming discontinued only a year later), the Flying V has become a cult classic among a plethora of preforming artists and guitar enthusiasts alike.
 
This iteration of the Flying V was Gibson's "standard take" on the guitar. This instrument has a mahogany body in lieu of the 58's Korina body, Burstbucker pickup's, and a SlimTaper profile mahogany neck with a dot-inlaid rosewood fretboard.
 
Whether you're a blues player, metalhead, or a fanatic of psychedelia, there's something to love about this guitar.
