Martin's nearly-30-years-old CEO series comprises of CEO-designed models that features unique tonewoods, innovative designs and technology, and often intriguing takes on what a Martin guitar can be.
 
The CEO-4 most notably features a sunburst slope should dreadnought body design, Adirondack spruce top, and a micarta fretboard, making it an early instance of Martin's use of the material.
