Introduced in 1988 as one of Fenders first "Artist Series" offerings, this iteration of the Eric Clapton Stratocaster features factory Lace Sensor pickups, alder body, maple neck with soft "V" profile, and a TBX master tone control (Tone 1) and an active 25db mid boost (Tone 2, battery located in back cavity, single 9V battery).
 
This instrument comes with its original hardshell case.
