1957 Gibson LG-2:
 
Along with the LG-1 and LG-3, the Kalamazoo-made LG-2 was first introduced in August of 1942.
 
As opposed to the LG-1's ladder-bracing and the LG-3's natural top, the LG-2 featured a sunburst finish, an x-braced spruce top, and mahogany back and sides. By 1955, the model received a larger pick guard and an addition 20th fret.
 
This particular guitar has undergone a bridge re-glue, and has had new tuners installed.
 
This instrument comes with a hardshell case.
