New from Portland, Oregon, Benson Amplification's Monarch Reverb is the quintessential Benson amp, described by builder and designer Chris Benson as "largely what [his] other amps are based on."
 
The Monarch Reverb Plus expands on the original design by including the Benson Chimera's tone stack, as well as the addition of tube driven power scaling circuit powered by a 6L6 power tube, resulting in power attenuation that doesn't sound "choked" as some other methods do.
 
Whether it's used as a pedal platform or by itself, we all love the Monarch here at the shop. Plus, we think Benson nailed the lacquered tweed finish!
